members build their own camera, develop their first print and take home photographic paper to experiment!

Learn to print on paper and fabric using leaves, flowers and other botanical materials. Bundle and wrap
your fabric and plant materials so that your prints come out clearly. Use mordant to set colours and
experiment with different fabrics and techniques. If time allows, samples will be assembled into a handstitched

gorgeous once in-a-life time heirloom quality project. In this Crochet Mandela, you will learn the use
of colours to produce a specific ‘feeling,’ stitches and techniques for dimensional details and amazing
geometric designs for visual effects. Receive help, guidance, hints and tips along the way.
All students should have beginner level crochet skills. The Crochet-A-Long Program will be offered in

Explore Native philosophy through discussion of the Blackfoot philosophy of prayer, its structure and
relation to the language and symbolism. This will also cover the philosophy of creating relationships with
land, community, animals, space and spirit. The course will focus on the process of creativity without
judgement using native music and contemporary music. Students use discussions to inspire artworks and
discuss their meditative experience. Students have the opportunity to display their artwork at the end of
